5 more years *sight*

Yes, 5 more years to go before retiring definitely to HH.....

Been coming to Thailand since 28 years, first for work, sometimes for play, the last 7 years on holiday with the Thai wife, the last 4 years to HH.
And last year finally we bought our house in one of the projects, which was finished last month.
Been here the last 3 weeks in the house, and yes, its HOME.....

Alas, we leave later today back to BKK and in a few days back to Belgiumburi......

Hope to come back many more times before settling here finally, but need to wait another 5 years.....*sight*
Keeping in touch on this board will be a placebo I hope.

or you BelgianBoy - really do. But it's good to hear that your house in HH is finished - and you don't seem to have any complaints about it. Thats a big plus. You seem to have done everything in a very sensible way and taken your time, so best of luck and keep posting

Without doing a free plug for the project where we bought, I'll just say that we are marvelled with the service provided !
We had over 40 changes from the orignal standard plans, all were executed without a problem, all on time, all perfect. Of course with the necessary discounts and etras that come with it......
Pics every week per mail, wife would call them as well, the rest per mail in English (its a Thai project with Thai people and Thai builders).
Bought incl furniture and garden, even the fridge was full on arrival.
And I can go on and on, compared to all horror stories on all webboard, we were EXTREMELY lucky *thumpsup emoticon*

Now its counting the years, month and days......
Hopefully, maybe in 3 years time I can move here on a rotation basis, 2 month Belgium, 3 months here.....I am self-employed, it might work out with an electronic office !
