Looking forward to your review, JW. I'm running low on spices, so am having to ration my home made stuff until I get to Penang again.

Well to give a full report from my test..

Poppadoms - Not great but better than most, but still has that weird taste most of them have here.
Garlic nan - Delicious, loaded with garlic, droolworthy.
Veg Samosa - According to Mrs Supertonic, delicious.
Chicken madras - Just like they made it at my local indian which was quite possibly the greatest indian restaurant known to man (yes it was that good).
Chicken Masala - According to Mrs Supertonic, it's damn good.

Now all we need to do is find out if they can do a pathia.

Was planning to go tonight to the India hut but the rains may prevent this

All feedback welcome particularly Take aways and deliveries

Also whether they have a good yogurt and mint dip and whether they sport Bombay duck

Mouth drooling but tonight there is going to be heavy downpour and don't want to get stranded

The days of hanging around in a bar all night have gone. SHIT must be getting sensible in my old age :D

Pah what's a bit of rain? Deliveries are one of those things I've never had any luck with in Hua Hin but it could be because my soi's a bit out of the way and my Thai's not yet good enough to explain where we are (ie that we're not in Cha-Am). I know they do take-away though, I saw a customer requesting such a thing, though the wait might be a bit long for some.

Edit @ 19.45: Just got back and can confirm it was no fluke. Another perfect curry, a little hotter than the last one. Only 350 baht for 2 curries, lots of starters, 2 cokes, to give a bit of a price guide.

You mean I've been looking for a good Indian for a year and it was there all along? Bastard! Why didn't you tell us! And yeah I probably don't want to, but all I care about is the delicious curry.

i got a take away last night from there

think its nepalese run, rather than indian ?

i didnt rate it but i dont eat hot curries, so maybe its good in that department

surprised they didn't have pilau rice, only had plain thai rice

but obviously others like it, so maybe just me and my mild curry tastebuds

hope others try it and give their opinions

went there last night. Didn't find the chicken curry anything to rave about. sauce rather thin. but nothing to complain abouyt either. so I didn't 555 lack of olives not distressing.
will try the madras and masala next time.

on the other hand, a vegetarian curry, potatoes and coliflower, was super excellent.

I will not attempt it but would someone else care to comment on the ambiance?
