Takeaway

Post by lindao »

Does anyone know of places that delivers food?
Thaifood, pizza and other types of food that can be delivered.
We are renting a house in the Avalon area, and having small children it might be easier to eat at home some evenings..

Thanks.

"Pizza Company" .....call 1122

McDonalds for sure and Burger King delivers also I believe. Sorry can't remember the numbers.

Not sure if they'll go that far out though if your in the Avalon area.
Why is it called 'after dark' when it really is 'after light'?

You'll find that all of the Piza parlours and Burger King do deliveries. You'll probably get inundated with flyers offering the service in your mailbox. However, if you're going to make a habit of it, you'd be better off grabbing a few flyers from the shops on your first day in Hua Hin.

I'll be interested to hear the range of deliveries ie I always rent centrally - not sure if they'll venture out to Avalon.

Pizza Company Tel 1112
KFC Tel 1150
McDonalds Tel 1711

To name the 3 most poular

Other places will do a delivery service but I think you need to take a trip to them to get a menu and talk about delivery

Hope this helps

Hobicat, we're obviously thinking along the same lines - posts crossed.

Having a lot of trouble with your animations - I might fail :offtopic:

Pizza Company also do online ordering for delivery thus negating the need for one of their menus as it is on the website. You also can give detailed instructions how to get to your house in English, generally avoiding the problems when the Thai motorsai driver calls you unable to find you!

Any restaurant that can understand your order will deliver using a family member or motor bike courier!
Have a look round and if you like anywhere in particular just ask if you can have a menu to order from home.
Thais just tend to pick up a meal as they go home to eat later - they don't mind it being served cold, so it is only in major centres (Bangkok?) that you will find anything other than fast food - you wouldn't be wanting to eat that would you

If you're actually on Avalon, the on site restaurant will deliver to your house.

They sell a mixture of European and Thai food.
