You know, Jimiherf, even Thais eat Western food sometimes. Ever been in a Burger King or KFC?

And, horror of horrors, people in the West have Thai restaurants and eat Som Tam & Tom Yum Koong.

Geography does not dictate what you may or may not feel like eating on any given day.

Yes Its disgraceful, I think people should fly home to have there traditional Christmas dinner, god forbid anyone having one in Thailand.

I fancied a Pizza but couldnt afford the flight to Italy. :(

Sometimes, I wonder why some people care what others are eating!

Come on Randy you old humbug, I remember those Christmas's when I would put me feet up, wearing me new sweater, eating mince pies and watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Not sure that I miss it too much though

I remember as a child, not being able to sleep on Christmas eve as I knew I had Buckaroo and an Action Man under the tree!! (not every year)
I always managed to find my pressies before the event. I still looked surprised when I opened them though.....
Some classics that come to mind -
Mastermind, Kerr plunk, Hot wheels, Bumper shot, Meccano, Lego, Mamood steam thingy, Johnny 7 gun, Yatzee, Magnetic spinning robot that answers questions, Big bag of plastic soldiers, Airfix kit, Subbuteo, Battleships.

Operation (but we kept losing the bits that go in the holes) and Girl's World. I wanted a Girl's World for ages. It lost it's appeal very quickly, though. There's not an awful lot you can do with a plastic head with nylon hair & crappy creme make up. :(

Mr. RC: Oh why, oh why, did you mention the magnetic robot that could answer questions? I'd forgotten all about it (for about 35 years) and now memories are flooding back. But vaguely, and in a mist. I think he answered 'yes' or 'no' - but he was certainly accurate and not to be swayed by big sis trying to stop him from spinning round (because she thought that she knew best).

Dawn: I had Sindy and you pressed a button in her back to give her long blond locks. Oh, if life was only that simple...

VS

P.S. Randy: You forgot 'Battling Tops'.
