red cross clinic

Post by stubby »

During my stay was unfortuante enough to cut my hand badly .
An expat who was on hand told me to go to the red cross clinic that the thais use as i would be charged over the top bieng a farang if i went to the hospital.
Have only praise for the staff at the clinic, effeicient , curteous, was seen staright away and hand stitched up.
They charged me 280 baht for some pain killers and a course of antibiotics.
Then 50 baht the next day when i returned for the dressing changing.

we're happy you found the right place.

As a suggestion the Poly clinic is also to be recommended. :|

The Red Cross is - as you go up the road to the train station.

go through the big set of traffic lights at the cross roads, the ones with the countdown timer on the lights, go straight across away from the beach and take your first left turn after the lights about 100m
the clinic is the first building on your left as you go round the corner.
2 mins walk from the traffic lights.
