Anyone have a recommendation for a good optician in Hua Hin? My husband and I both want to get new glasses. We got glasses made when were in Phuket and were very pleased.

Try the Time Optic Shop on Phetkasem Road, opp. the Temple, and near the Shopping Mall.
I'm customer for many years (glasses & contact lenses), and felt very satisfied with their service and prices until now.

I quote my earlier post to give JG some idea of prices on frames and lenses. Examples concern man's glasses:

These prices are at Dr. Pairat's Clinic. He is a real ophthalmologist. Before you buy from the mid-town optometrists compare prices at real eye-doctor.

Doctor Pairat's clinic is in the building facing the Phetskasem Road between Sois 88/1 and 88/2, one block south of Market Village.
The clinic is open 10 - 13 and 17 - 20.00 on weekdays.

TIME OPTICS definitely.
Wife and myself bought top mark glasses in 2005. Titanium frames, progressive lenses of best quality. Pai total of 22000 Baht. Both pairs still in top shape.
Send your husband to another shop. The optician is gorgeous!:D
