I am not sure which section this should correctly go to.
I entered an advertisement in the Classified section last month, in the motoring section, requesting vehicles under 2 years old,
I have since been contacted by a number of emails, which I now discover eminate from the Cameroon, saying they can supply vehicles and all I need do is to send them a deposit of US$1,000. I have shortened this correspondence but you will all get the drift.
It surprises me that an ad on your site is picked up by these West African conmen
If the administrators want a copy please let me have an email address.

Classified Ads Scam
You probably posted your email address which is a real bad idea. In your profile options it will say "Hide my email address (a contact form will be provided instead)" - make sure the check box is ticked.
There is software freely available that "scrapes" email addresses from websites ranked in Google, ads them to a database and sends them to scammers so they can contact you - its all automated and they simply latch on to email addresses at random and certain keywords. The Hua Hin Blog site gets hundreds of them per day added as spammy "comments" with links back to scammy websites.
Don't blame the system and don't answer the scammers, send me the thousand dollars instead!
