Digital Safe

Post by bambergasgoigne »

Wasn't sure where to post this. Sorry if its in the wrong place.

Does anyone know where I could buy a safe in Hua Hin with a Digital keypad on the front. You know the ones you get in hotel rooms, where you input a number as you lock it, and then need that number to open it. It can't be the style that has a set digital code. Its for hotel rooms, so it needs to be changeable by the guest.

any help appreciated.

If the answer is only BKK, then where in BKK ?

Thanks

There's a large shop on the western side of Petchkasem Road, just a bit north of Kasikorn Bank - they've got air con units, fans and easy chairs up at the front normally.
I've seen quite a few safes in there. However, couldn't tell you if they've got what you want or how much.

Another place that sells safes is Big Khian almost opposite market village.

Both barrys and lomuamart are correct.
I bought my Digital keypad safe in the shop mentioned by lomu.
Think I have seen this kind of safe at least in 2 other places as well.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

Pure Electric (Index living mall) have them as well. Homepro too, but more expensive.

Thanks for those replies.

I had looked in Index and HomePro, but hadn't seen them. Will try others mentioned and will clean my glasses before going to Index again.

Thx

safes

I don't know if this is true for certain but I was told not to get a fully electric safe as they can be opened by pouring water on them.
If it is true then using the key only would seem the best option ( Take the batteries out , if you have one already )

Also , on installation , have a safe bonded to any surface it meets with PVA or similar industrial adhesive as this trebles the force needed to pull the bolts out of the floor or wall. There was a spate of robberies in Pattaya where the safe was just pulled out and carried away.
I don't want to say how in public but if anyone needs to know they can PM me.

Thanks Jackie

I will try Winner, opposite Index.

Do you mind me asking what price you paid. I know you answered a few days ago, and you mightnt see this. Sorry I don't check HHAD site enough.

Does anyone know if you can specify to get an email, everytime someone replies to one of the topics you started, (or is there no such thing)

Thanks Jackie

thats good value.

ps - Ive found the answer to my other question. I've just noticed the section where you specify that you want to be notified of a reply to a topic you have posted.

no need for an answer on that one.

I guess I'm just used to asking a lot of questions !.
