Khao Takiab sunbeds

I'm thinking of going to Khao Takiab for the day. Are there any sunbeds areas with drinks service?

Go to the Southern side of Khao Takiab (the beach where the old Pattaya Ferry used to depart from). You will have a fantastic choice of restaurants/sunbeds to meet every budget.

There's a car park at the end of Soi Ao Hua Don 3. You can easily walk from there until you find something that suits you.

Do they still remove sun beds on Wednesdays, or is that another rule that has been conveniently forgotten?

^I don't know about Khao Takiap but they still do it on Hua Hin beach.

At least the beds were gone Wednesdays around one month ago. The sun chairs on Suan Son are still in place Wednesdays, as far as I know.

Near the pier you’ll find a row of sunbeds with umbrellas and drink service. They’ll bring beers, cocktails or soft drinks right to your spot-just wave or press the little button on the table.

But for the call-button thing I'd think he's talking about the restaurant at the pier end of the beach, with sunbeds and also table and chairs on the beach, as well as proper seating in the open-air restaurant itself. The Thai food is quite good, I've never tried anything else.

Maybe there's another place along the beach there with call-buttons, or maybe this place has recently installed them since I last went.

That's correct, of course. I just never get past the first restaurant as it's comfortable and right beside the pier parking!
