Certainly last year, when asked, the staff at Bluport admitted that the IT system had problems, and there was only a 50% chance of success. I think it worked for me once last year.

Definitely luck of the draw comes into it, in fact I’m fairly certain that I’ve managed to do a first report online after returning from an overseas trip!! In fact if you look at April last year you’ll see that many of us confirmed that we’d managed to do the online report after returning from overseas - maybe this is a new rule that they’ve recently introduced?

If so, the system itself doesn't seem to know that. I returned from the UK in November and did my first 90 day report since returning, online last week. It was approved within a day

The online application seems to be working better this year than last year. My first application in February 2025 was approved. Now I received an email stating that notification is due on May 25. I applied online at 9 a.m. this morning and received approval at 10 a.m.

Since I changed to using Chrome some years ago, for immigration 90 day matters I have had a 100% success.

Always make sure that the Captcha code is loaded on screen before you enter that mega long password

Caught me out a few times!

Something weird happened unless I don't understand the system.
I am used to doing the 90 days online since around 2021 living here on Non-O and Non-B. Last time I extend was January valid until April

February I flew out so I did not submit online until May, within the 90 days time frame but later than April.
This was the reply;
Dear MARTIN
Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.
For first-time requests of a 90-day notification in each country visit, in-person presentation at the immigration office is required.

First time? Living here for +25 years...
I went to the office and the report was accepted and a fine of 1,000 THB (not 2,000), no explanation

Anyone else had the same experience? Or do we put this under TIT?

I don’t understand the fine unless you were now over your 90 days since returning from overseas? Although there have been reports of exceptions, most people confirm that after leaving Thailand, your first 90 day report has to be done in person after returning, irrespective of how long you’ve been living here.

Yes, happens to me often, I'd say about 50:50 on rejections, and if you leave, you have to report in person the first time back (archaic I know, but TIT).

Haven't been fined for years, though (a wet tsunami stamp was the last fine I got). I can nip into Bluport to do it manually, or go to Dansingkhon if I'm south.

I was not over 90 days from my entry stamp, from my previous notification I was, less than a month

after leaving Thailand, your first 90 day report has to be done in person after returning,
This I was not aware of.. When I still full time worked never had an issue due to travels

Nope, never done a TM30 and never been asked for one.

I have looked back in my passports and I never have done the reporting, was never fined nor advised to do so.
The only time I had an issue is now with the first physical extension in over 4 years and I am still withing the immigration rule;
Every return from a trip the 90 days count starts new
