We're a day or so away from the major celebrations and I'm sure there'll be the usual "Fireworks" everywhere..
Personally (whilst we had a great time), I'm glad to see the back of the mayhem of Christmas with the multitude of nieces, nephews, their partners and the odd bickering sibling (it continues even close to retirement
) - I'm looking forward to a quiet night in at home with the LHG, a nice meal with the odd glass of wine and a decent movie. We'll take in the "Midnight Fireworks" on TV (hush-up)!! There's always the look back over the year, "The Good, The Bad an the Ugly" for us all, be it personal or through the events of the year or those involved. Many of us will believe we've had a Year to Forget (don't we always?), but let's just believe we have a year to look forward to - if only for a little while!!
