Hi everyone,

My name is Chip and a newbie to the Huahin forum.
Enquiring about a Football club for a Juniors program.

My son is 9yrs old and I want him involved in a team sport. He loves Football . Any recommendations for clubs. We Live in Hinlekfire

Welcome to the forum Chip.

There are many academies in the Hua Hin area, but the one I regularly hear about is Black Mountain football academy, which is run by former England international Gary Stevens. They train at the Hua Hin International School.

The academy that train on the pitches next to True Area are very popular. Drive past the entrance to True going south, over the roundabout and the entrance to the pitches is signposted on the right. Just go along and speak to coach Fareed. I'm not sure of days and times for a 9 year old but my 13 years old goes Tues and Thurs 4:30 - 6:15 pm and 9:30 - 10:30 am on Saturdays. Hope this helps.

Both quoted academies are high standard. There are plenty of lesser Thai run academies as well. You should find something suitable for your son.
