Moving away from Hua Hin

I'm sure there's a lot of 'knee-jerk' reaction in HH.
So where have you moved to and why after many years here?

I've moved to Nongkhai after 25 years in Hua Hin. Still have my house here. Half mine and half to my ex wife. Need to sell but my lawyer has pointed out that she needs to agree to sell, and she won't agree just now.
Love Nongkhai. But I do miss the convenience in Hua Hin.

You asked for reasons. Well it's far far cheaper there and much quieter.
To give you a couple of examples: My local here is charging 100 baht for a small Chang. In Nongkhai, 100 baht is the most you'll pay for a large Chang and some bars charge just 80 baht for the same.

I'm renting a 2 bedroom bungalow just 6 kms from Nongkhai and it costs just 2,500 baht per month.

I loved Hua Hin back in the day, before Market Village, Bluport, KFC, Burger King, McDonalds etc etc. And the lack of traffic in those days.
