It's all a bit embarrassing for the police who blocked Soi 80 for a senior policeman's birthday bash earlier in the evening! I guess many of them went on to the club afterwards.

Re my post yesterday. My grammar was poor, as was my attempt at sarcasm.

I should have written… “Likely outcome” as opposed to “outcome”.

I was trying to predict what would probably happen rather than what was being publicly reported in the local press.

A clear signal to the Police that the army doesn't trust them.

I remember army personnel being around during police stops. They were filming the procedure and when asked why they're filming, the answer was "To ensure the police don't plant anything in your vehicle!"

Did we ever hear what the punishment was here?

Thong Lor police do squats to atone for drunken misbehaviour

Police at Thong Lor have punished themselves by each performing 10 squats in a show of responsibility after a drunk colleague fired a gun during an argument with a bar security guard.

Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

I assume you mean punishment for the fatal shooting in Soi 80?

I was just thinking the same thing the other day....

Unless I've missed something then sadly sounds like they brushed it all under the carpet.

^Have you ever seen that statue outside of the central Hua Hin police station of a policeman carrying an unconscious person?
He's taking him to an ATM!
