The 90 Day Report Thread
Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
I was trying to come up with Thai government entities that have reliable and easy to use websites or apps. The only one I could come up with is MPass which does make it pretty easy to top up. Another one that works surprisingly well is Thai Rail's D-Ticket which has removed the silly bureaucracy that used to go along with buying a train ticket. (It's nowhere near perfect, though. You can't book a through ticket from, say, Korat to Hua Hin. That's two separate tickets. And, although you're issued a ticket online and told to print it out, you still need to check in at the station and have them print yet-another paper ticket.)
So, I asked my wife, who has to deal with many Thai government entities, if there are any that have reliable and easy to use websites or apps. She only came up with Revenue ("not 100%"). I asked about the courts and she just shook her head and said "not easy to log in or find what you need".
So, that's Thailand 4.0 for you.

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
Today I went to Bluport immigration, no waiting time, but I lost an hour driving from Pranburi to Hua Hin and back. I asked the officer why my online application was rejected, he said I had to submit it between 15 and 7 days before the due date. I told him I submitted it 8 days before the due date and he said they often have problems with the system.
Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
As I keep saying, there's nothing wrong with your application, but only a 50% chance of the system accepting it. Thai IT systems are truly amazing.pitsch wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2024 3:22 pm Today I went to Bluport immigration, no waiting time, but I lost an hour driving from Pranburi to Hua Hin and back. But to be ultra clear...pitsch wrote:I submitted my online application on August 13th and received the rejection email today, of course without giving any reasons.
On the day you applied did you receive a prompt email reply saying "your information had been successfully received"?
But then later a rejection?
Or.... just a rejection 6 days later?
I've just had an info successfully recd e mail and I'm trying to work out whether I'm home and dry so to speak or could still get the heave ho!
Thanks

On the 13th, the email came saying “We have successfully received your information” and 6 days later the rejection “Your application for “STAY LONGER THAN 90 DAYS” has been rejected”.

FWIW mine was approved this morning, quickest yet as only applied last night

As a matter of interest does your visa expire within the 90 days?

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
No, the visa did not expire and I did not leave Thailand during the last 90 days.
Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
I applied for mine on 1st ( Sunday!) and it was approved today so I hope it is now back to normal for everyone.

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
I submitted my online application Sunday (15th) afternoon and received my approval Monday (16th) afternoon. My fastest approval yet.
Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
This is some sort of record for me. My last 3 online applications have been rejected. I submitted my application at 11:41 today, and it was approved at 11:56.

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
Just had my online application submitted yesterday, rejected. I was half expecting this, as for the first time in a while, they changed my 90 day report date when I completed my visa extension in August, and then I left the Country and returned on the 12th September, so obviously not yet 90 days after that return date, meaning the next 90 day report should be in December. Just feel uncomfortable walking around in a week or so, with an out of date 'report by' date in my passport.

I very much doubt it. I'd still go with the 50/50 chance of success. I hope that I'm wrong.

Re: The 90 Day Report Thread
I had the same problem earlier in the year. They said that after returning to Thailand, the first renewal had to be in person. I did it in Bluport and now have used the online system again two days ago - successfully.caller wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 8:48 pm Just had my online application submitted yesterday, rejected. Previously, like you, I used to wait for the original 90 days to expire before I bothered to apply online. It seems they have changed their process again.
