Can confirm singlelogin.re still works, my email inbox is full of sci-fi now!
I like the singlelogin.re much better than having books sent to my email address.
That site does send ebooks to your email address, its more messing about, I prefer the old way of downloading them directly.

My quite old Kindle paperwhite gets a lot of use as I like to read in bed under dim light. The .mobi file format is excellent when it's been employed correctly and the reader can access bookmarks, skip to chapter footnote and quickly back to the page being read, etc.

My question is how do users of e-book readers get on with .pdf files? I find them useless on my device, as it has no functionality to do anything other than just read the page, usually with tiny print.

Converting a file from .pdf to .mobi often produces poor results. Have recent e-book readers introduced some .pdf reader novelties that allow searching, page enlargement, etc.? I have to use my Android tablet reader app when confronted with a .pdf file.

PDFs are terrible, I avoid them and only use EPUB format which is the standard. The Calibre software converts them and any other format into what my aging Kindle Fire wants, which has its own standard I think, but when looking for and downloading material I'll go for EPUB.

Interesting. My old Kindle Paperwhite doesn't support ⁤.epub files natively (from the comments here it seems the newer Kindles do). I download in .epub or .mobi and Calibre converts the former to .mobi seamlessly.

Anyway, .pdf is still a no-no it seems!

Did'nt see this mentioned in the few most current thread pages, aoplogies if posted before, but https://libgen.is/ (and other domain extensions) is still quite good as a zlib replacement which I gave up on after it initially got taken down then turned scammy, much more basic interface (not unlike this forum) but gets the job done. Also if any iOS users looking for an ereader app I tried loads an eBoox is pretty decent, download from whatever site in your phone browser, open in Files and eBoox opens it up.

I have been using Z books sign in for my books and now I cannot log in. Can you advise me the correct log in now?
I know there have been scam problems but I have not had a problem before. Thanks

OK, perhaps a tad "Off Topic", but looking for some recommendations for books. This book in particular is for an "intellectual" (in his own mind) who pretty much believes the entire world is against him and his deserved place as a (multi) Millionaire... Anywho

He's well read, not exactly big on conspiracies, but a "supporter" of Who has the money, How did they get it, Why do they have it and Where has it gone type of thing. Anything (within reason) on the Political or Financial side would likely be a good fit. :thumb:

DM - I used the top link and when I searched for a book, I was told I had to upgrade to Lifetime Premium or else my" access will be blocked and you won't be able to use Z-Library again"
I have not responded to this but have you done so and if so , it it above board and OK and what was the cost,if any?

Others on the forum using Z LIBRARY may also be able to comment,
TKS all

I've posted here before about fraudulent scam z-lib sites asking for money. Do not send money.

Z-lib used to post their active URLs on their Telegram app but they are now legally prevented from doing that. Check Z-Library's entry in Wikipedia to see the sites you must use and many to avoid.
