Obviously I haven't tried it yet, but there's a new kid on the block opening tomorrow on Soi 88 -
Sunrise Breakfast and Lunch Hua Hin. I've seen the menu online, and it looks very good/not expensive. We'll give it a try at some stage.
It didn't take long, we went along to give it a try today.
A shiny new place, which looked very clean. Some tables outside, but the majority of tables inside, with the aircon. I think it was the owner sat outside with a few friends smoking, so we moved inside.
On the inside, the kitchen area is along one wall. When we entered the temperature on the wall clock was showing as 30C. We asked for the aircon to be switched on, and although the temperature appeared to have dropped, the thermometer was reading 32C when we left.
Now down to business, the food. I ordered a medium breakfast, my son ordered a large breakfast and my wife ordered pancakes and fruit. I received a small breakfast

My wife received what she ordered

I also had a mango smoothie

The beans, even though the smaller variety were probably the best baked beans I've had in a long time.
The 'hash brown?' was certainly different and seemed to be home made. I looked at it and thought yuk. However, it actually tasted quite nice.
The bacon was too well cooked for me, although I accept that is personal preference. Taste was OK.
The sausage was a brand I don't remember having before. It was a little stumpy, but tasted very nice.
Tomato and mushrooms was tomato and mushrooms - not a lot you can say about those.
A couple of rounds of toast, with butter and jam, plus a cup of coffee.
All in all, not a bad breakfast, but I still prefer T&Ms. Again, personal preference - absolutely nothing wrong with this breakfast.
My wife's pancakes were a little slow coming, but she ate all but one pancake, and all of her fruit. This was quite an achievement in itself, because she has been off her food lately.
In conclusion, a good breakfast, and a very good addition to the breakfast scene; but I doubt I'll be back, simply because I prefer T&Ms, which is closer to home.
