What is a troll?
As I remember from my childhood, a troll is a fictional charactar who hides under the bridge and exacts a toll from all those who pass over it. I guess kind of like the bar owners here in Thailand who extract a barfine for picking up a girl. So I would venture to say that the real trolls out there are those who are making a profit from this town without giving anything back. Any other definitions out there? If you dont like my posts, dont read it . I am not forcing you. I write for me. not for your lame critique, go ahead and ignore me. or you can go ahead and restrict my access as a form of censorship against anyone with a different viewpoint other than your own narrow viewpoints. I have obviously upset someone higher up in your little pecking order and must suffer the consequences. If this forum is to be read and viewed by more than the dozen or so regular contributors to this space, then I suggest you adopt a more tolerant view , rathar than label people trolls or whatever. I guess extracting a toll for passing through a place is like the British Empire having chokeholds at gibralter, the suez, hong, kong, and singapore, extracting a toll for all who want to pass. So who is the real troll out there?

A troll, in internet parlance, is one who posts specifically to incite or extract strong feelings &/or flaming from others. I will not use the words "wind-up", but that is certainly what internet trolls do.
It is not anyone "higher up" you have upset. You have upset many of the members - how many have had a go at you, now? If you genuinely do not wish to be called a troll, I would recommend phrasing your views & opinions in a less confrontational way.

Re: What is a troll?
The restriction of your membership of this forum was entirely your own doing, and you were lucky not to be banned. You broke the terms and conditions that you agreed to when you joined this forum, and if you are not careful you will get thrown out. Most internet forums would already have banned you for what you have done, so don't accuse us of being heavy handed or intolerant. Discussion or mention of actions taken by the admin or moderators against you is also against the T & C, and you have just done this again in the post I have quoted. Do not do it again.vincent chang wrote:...snip...If you dont like my posts, dont read it . I am not forcing you. Get a life and stop giving the suggestion that all Americans are as stupid as you. Why can you not make a post without being controversial.
I think for one you listen to too much Howard Stern and watch too much Rosey O Donnel, or whatever the daft girls name is.

I have seen a few topless women on the beach and around the pools, but I have not seen anybody nude on the street. Certainly there are a lot of tourists who are carousing around with just a bikini top, but usually only near the resorts and the beach properties.

Maybe cumflywme69 thought he was searching 'nudity' in Google Search and didn't realize he was still in HHF.
There was an obese Chinese man walking around food shopping in Lotus supermarket in Market Village with no shirt on a few years ago. He received verbals from me two or three times and finally draped a shirt around his shoulders. But as no-one else even seemed to care I didn't bother fetching a guard. Put me off buying uncooked chicken that day.
Last week a middle-aged coupe that I know as a certainty have been living in Thailand for years were walking in MV, she was in a bikini top and tiny shorts and see-through unbuttoned top. It's just so low class. I even saw it in a Dubai supermarket once deep in the middle of town and miles from a beach. The young Eastern European woman (OK, Russian or Albanian or whatever) looked open for business, but I don't think she was looking for trade in Carrefour supermarket. I really hope she tried to visit a mosque after that ....

Re: "Nudity" on the streets of Hua Hin
Oh FFS. You can walk around many places in HH and you'll see Thai (yes mostly guys) shirtless, with builder's cracks etc. It's not limited to foreign tourists.
Thai's go down the beach fully dressed in the day so as not to burn (obsessed with white skin) - nothing to do with respect.
You'll find that in the early evening when the sun goes down, even the Thai girls wear less.
This is all about "I've read the culture here and I know what's acceptable". Absolute poppycock.

I never see this except in backstreets outside of town where they live in shacks. Certainly not 'many places' around town.

Nope, it's not abut that, it's about standards of public behaviour. Who has mentioned Thai culture? I also dislike seeing shirtless youths on UK streets wandering in and out of shops. Standards. In any case I think you can't tell me the last time you saw a Thai woman in a bikini top and tiny shorts in Market Village? This is all about "I've read the culture here and I know what's acceptable". Absolute poppycock.

lol..... I was searching topless/nude sunbathing.
Continuing with this topic, A Russian looking woman in a sheer red bikini top with super hard nipples came into 7-11 and the whole store turned around.
