Did you have to leave your existing frames with him for the 2-3 days ?

Re: Buying glasses in Hua Hin
I have the in-laws down from Isaan and it’s clear they need new glasses. As a tight Yorkshireman who no doubt will be paying for the glasses, where do people recommend?
I don’t want designer, well knock offs would be fine.

Enjoying 'Retirement'....So many jobs to do, I don't know how I ever had time to work!

They should of course get their eyes tested and Dr. Pairat is the best for that. You don't have to buy the specs there but he'll give you a prescription so you can buy elsewhere.
The cheapest option of course but certainly not the best is glasses from the stall in MV.

Its 5 years after the last post, but is Time Optic still the highest rated place to buy glasses? I need some new lenses, the frames are ok.

The large happy lady with a stall opposite the main ground floor elevator near to Lotus is still there. My son and I both bought some very nice glasses a year or so ago there and selected from a wide variety of lens tints and other options. I didn't expect I would find frames I really liked in a selection smaller than a big optician; maybe we were lucky, my son spotted them. I took my prescription there and was happy with price and service.HHTel wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 5:12 pm They should of course get their eyes tested and Dr. Pairat is the best for that.
