15 minutes to go and (joint?) favourites France just the goal lead.

Though they should have been a few ahead, France were somewhat hanging on at the end of it! Good game.

This could put a dent in France's performance going forward.

Apparently not - they've said they'll give him one of these protective face masks to wear, like Josko Gvardiol in the last World Cup.
France captain Kylian Mbappe does not require surgery and will play with a mask at Euro 2024 to protect his “broken nose”

He'll have to seriously focus as that thing can't help by be uncomfortable and a distraction.

Some outstanding goals yesterday and the best match of the tournament so far in Turkey vs Georgia. Some big battles coming up in round 2: Spain vs Italy and Netherlands vs France being the standout games.

If Scotland lose now, they're pretty much out already after two games. That'd be a shame. :D

Though, I am rooting for them to produce a better showing than last time if I'm honest. Waste of 90 minutes watching them last time.

I said earlier that I'll adopt the Scots in view of Wales missing out, so obiously I'm rooting for them... "Urine Extraction" appart, I do truly hope there's a lot more to come from them than the embarrassment against Germany.

And before BB leaps upon his toppling Soapbox, I will always support the "Home Nations" in these tournaments... It's just that England deserve the banter (and abuse).. :D

Sad seeing someone stretchered off during major tournaments. Once every 4 years, that's his Euros run. He'll be 31 the next time it comes about.
