Have had moderate rainfall for the last ten minutes or so down here at our condo by Bluport. And I don’t know what time it was, but very early this morning we were awoken by some thunder that sounded like it was hitting just outside our bedroom window. I didn’t hear any rain, but my better half said it was coming down pretty good.

Yes, I encountered it on the way to Khao Tao Lake around the same time. Mainly moderate, but very heavy in places. My arrival at the lake coincided with the rain ending

That was between 05.40 and 06.00 and there was a good dollop of rain too

I was awake

The gap between lightning and thunderclap was 4 seconds at one point so pretty close but it moved away quickly after that

A little bit south of BlúPort, and north of Arena Hua Hin.

You need one of those umbrella hat things, preferably with a Ratchaburi FC logo on it.
