Although I fully accept that VAR has slowed the game down, often to unacceptable levels, however in MOST cases they get it right, but when they get it wrong as they did in the Spurs/Liverpool match, it’s understandable why everyone is shouting for it to be dropped.
I certainly won’t be losing any sleep whatever the decision is, but whatever it is, they’ll still be many arguments about the “was it, wasn’t it” issues!!
As I've said since 1984, simply scrap the offside rule
What struck me is how amateurish the conversation is between the officials. It's like a bunch of mates chatting down the pub. Howard Webb in particular, as an ex Police Officer, should understand how important protocols for conversations are, when communicating via radio or similar. There was none of that at all. They were all interjecting, talking across each other. This was a disaster waiting to happen. And why doesn't the VAR just say, 'no offside, goal is good', or whatever, in plain, simple, easily understood language, that can't be misinterpreted, as happened here.
I am sure changes to improve this will be introduced asap.
Spurs' thrifty spending has been frustrating for quite some time. But, finally we're getting bargains. All our midfielders have doubled, tripled or quadrupled in value the past year. As has our left back and goalkeeper (top three goalie in the league - £19 million).
Better late than never.

I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.
Not much of a game at half time. Neither side playing well - if they were like this every week they'd both be mid-table! The City no.8 should have been sent off, but apart from that nothing much has happened.
