Hope Sonny's ok, too. Took a nasty one to the face. Can't afford another of our best players out after Richie and Kulu.
Oh, ffs.
"Sonny will undergo surgery to stabilise a fracture around his left eye".
Right before the World Cup for him, too. So... it looks like Kane & Moura will be our front three for the Liverpool game this weekend.

Crunch time begins tonight for the best teams in the world, battling it out in the knockout stages of the Champion's League. After an extremely long absence, The Arse will again experience what it feels like to belong to Europe's elite next season with their 3rd place finish this year (obsessed you say BG. Moi? ).
What a night of football!
AC Milan vs Tottenham
PSG vs Bayern Munich

The Europa League doesn't deserve its own thread (I'll be changing my tune next season when we're in it if we're lucky) but there is a tasty little Barcelona vs United game on tonight. Not often you see that kind of game in the Europa.

Well Liverpool were given a harsh lesson by RM and ended up losing quite emphatically 2-5. Nothing short of a miracle will see them through to the next round!!
A first half hattrick for Haaland. Another hattrick this season! The prem teams have got better at sussing him out and nullifying his threat (think he went 5-6 games recently without a goal) but that hattrick game is always bubbling under the surface.
'Tis why he's an FPL captain dilemma.

City give Real Madrid a bit of a thumping last night (4-0) to book their place in the final. The biggest surprise is that Haaland was not one of the scorers!!

Yup, not many will destroy Real like that in the Champion's League. This City team looks unbeatable (Spurs are possibly the one team that would beat them at the moment... one of football's mysteries that).
I see a treble on the horizon for City.
