Thanks for all the help. Every possible contractor just wanted to sell a new windscreen. Business I guess. In the end I ordered a polishing kit from Shopee.

The kit is in two elements. The grinding paste + cheap looking pads and a better set of pads. There are many Utube videos I have attached a couple of URLs. It looks pretty straight forward to me.

HaHa, my son dumped his psycho girlfriend a few years ago, so I'm not really looking for a windscreen polisher, but I'm still looking at a tool for demisting my headlights. I'm assuming this beastie would do the job.
