Just when we thought HH had escaped the bad weather. My long grass had dried out and I'd planned a cut today.

But....... my pool is full to brimming and I guess there are floods in the town. All plans today cancelled.

Yes it's been coming down pretty hard here on soi 6 also a nice lightning and thunder show.

I reckon we’ve had 30-40 mm since the early hours and it has just about stopped within the last few minutes - hopefully that’s it for today?

Blimey, it ain't done for the day here Buksi, just smashing it down again 0845!

See my post 2 weeks ago, the gist of which was......

Two years ago it looked like we might be in the clear as we'd had no rain at all in 8 of previous 9 days and only 8mm on the other day.

Then on the 29th Oct '20 we got 64mm!

So pretty much the same day again in the last week of October, it hammers down again.

And that's why it's the wettest month of the year in Hua Hin

To be fair its hardly rained at all in the last 2 weeks

:agree: it's pretty rough out there, but the sky is taking on a lighter shade of grey appearance at the moment.

The water in the street outside our house is a couple of feet deep at the moment. Worst it's been this year.

I'm just back from my daily jaunt to the lake. For the first time ever in Thailand, I turned around to avoid a flood on a road where I've never seen flooding before. I will try to edit this post with a video soon.

before the TMD decided to " upgrade " the website,
there was a daily summary of the rainfall total country wide that i rather enjoyed looking at
its now gone
as for HH just the usual forecasts predicting , yep, heavy rain until december 14 2025
does anyone actually in the department give a rats....

I've seen that road flooded before. We drove down it today with no real problem. C'mon BB, if scooters can do it, I'm sure you can.
