:D Hi - Are there any serious people out there??? I visited Thailand for my first time 5 weeks ago and already the Country has claimed my heart - I love the Thai people - at least the one's I met - and I am trying to reconcile returning to my hedonistic (not really) lifestyle to the simple life I left behind. As I am seriously thinking of retiring to Hua Hin in 5 years time would be grateful for any help I can get - I am 60, single and intend staying that way - but would like to make genuine friends both Thai and all Nationalities - Pan-Nam

Welcome to HHAD. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "serious people", but we have members of all temperaments on here. Feel free to join in on any discussions, and, who knows, we may have another get together at some time, where you can meet members in person. :)

Welcome Pamela.
Most of us on here can be serious when we need to be but also can be fun.
Enjoy the forum. Come back to Hua Hin soon. I am.

Welcome Pamela

Serious people are hard to find. Trouble is when you find one they tend to be depressive too.

Seek the fun lovers. Plenty about especially the ones on this forum!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Sorry - seem to have given everyone the wrong impression - so will start again - by 'serious' I meant that if I needed some help or answers on Hua Hin - Thailand can anyone help but can see by replies that I would!!
Depressive - not a chance - I am having the time of my life - just give me a chance guys!!

Hi Pam

Like you Hua Hin has claimed our hearts, we have visited many times and have made some wonderful friends both Thai and English. You will have no problem meeting people and the HHAD forum is a good place to start.

We are planning to move out to Hua Hin in the next few years, but until then we will be making as many visits as possible.
