From Windy. I just moved the flag to over Hua Hin and took a screen shot. It's now down to 91.4MM by the way over the next 10 days.

Again, published stats are very dubious. Just looked at several sites regarding HH in April. The differences are quite noticeable. Ranges as far as rain goes, from 44mm to 57mm and some sites quoting much more. Rainy days for 2 days to 7 days!

Once again stats don't seem to have common ground. The nearest to accuracy is those that physically measure the rainfall themselves.

Sip one, and if it rains hard enough it would be a good idea to sip more than one.

It got my dogs concerned anyway, they were both trying to sit under my chair on the terrace.

I’ve never seen anything like it. It looks like War of the Worlds starring Tom Cruise. There’s pack of dogs to the east of me that are going absolutely apeshit. The wind is picking up, and I had a big tokay, and then a giant mantis try to get into my house. What the heck is coming?

Think Bigston wasnt asking re my post but Pete C's

Anyway, I think this is probably the first time that I did not mention my sources(I just got sick and tired of repeatedly typing where they came from and thought users didn't want to reminded every single time)

The ThaiMet Met statistics are a matter of fact ie a record at the weather station between soi 51 and 53. I then compare that to historical data provided by weatherandclimate.com.

Yes other sites do offer different historical averages but which one is correct and which isn't is a matter of complex conjecture.

The point is is that its a comparison figure, and just a guide, not a matter of fact. In a perfect world I would be able to compare 'apples with apples' ie i would be able to compare ThaiMet stats for the day or month and compare it to historical data provided also by ThaiMet. But this is not really possible. ThaiMet do statistics for Thailand as a whole country. But then they also produce a report going back to previous months when they talk about how much rain there has been across various parts of Thailand which makes quite interesting reading(eg it was a very wet February in Thailand this year).

But suffice to say it does not appear to say what the average rainfall is for Hua Hin month by month.
Bottom line is my comparison figures are estimates based on 'fairly reliable' data from other Web sources.

Hua Hin is now up to 237.3mm of rain predicted over the next 10 days. The number keeps growing.
