I received a small package with a cheap plastic cover for a Smartphone. I was not at home when it came and my wife took it. I looked at the order and it was marked as delivered (shock). I tried to reach Zhengfui, but the seller does not exist any more. So I messaged it to Lazada with a photo. 2 days later I got a refund of the total amount, incl. shipping costs to my Debit Card. Good buyer protection from Lazada.
It is not true that I received a refund 2 days later (would be very surprising). The refund was for a different TV that I had previously ordered and that was canceled by the seller. But today, 3 weeks later, the refund came. In the meantime I ordered a TV for the third time and now I've received it. A very good deal because I ordered it on 12.12.

Is anyone else having no luck paying with a Western credit card? Had the same issue (gets to KBank and then failure) a few weeks ago, complained to Lazada customer service and it got fixed for a day and then back again to the same fail for the last few weeks. Refuse to use any Thai payment system as I know can dispute the charge and Chase will claw the money back from Lazada until they resolve the problem.

I use a Mastercard for all expensive purchases. Issued by Lloyds in the UK and have never had a problem. The last time was a couple of days before Christmas. Lazada actually hold the details so when I use it I only have to confirm the details they have is current.

Actually a simple reboot of my phone seems to have cured it

It was odd that it was the only app(100+) not to workImage

Been ordering quite a bit recently and have noticed significant savings for the same shops/products when you order via the app compared to the website. No logic to it whatsoever, but there is very little logic for most things here.

I have been ordering quite a few things lately and apart from todays delivery all has went well. Today, like Buksi should have been a TV but looked remarkably like two pink silicone telephone covers. Not the first time this has happened and immediately raised a return issue. I am confident it will get sorted out and I need to pay more attention to the reviews or lack of them and location. This should have been in stock in Thailand and coming from Chiangmai which should have rung alarm bells.
I find Lazada easier than Shopee and fairly reliable although it can be cheaper on Shopee. This little hiccup will not stop me using them, just need to turn the scam sensor onto a higher setting.

I purchased a TV via Lazada a few months back, and it came from Chiang Mai with no problems.

So I should have said pitsch instead of Buksi and should not have discriminated against Chiangmai. Probably better to stick with sellers who have a record and positive reviews as I notice that particularly with TV’s there are a number of sellers with no history and repeated ads from all over Thailand. I sometimes thing I just a well buy locally as not only do you not have to wait, the shop will also test the tv before you leave. Was just looking for a cheaper tv to connect to the playstation in another room so the wife can watch her lakorns.

When I ordered my 86" from Lazada a little while ago, it was delivered in just 2 days (maybe 3) and the guys unboxed it, put it together and tested it before leaving. The TV was almost 10K baht cheaper than HomePro.
No complaints.

Have noticed deliveries taking looonger and looooooonger again now (average 4-5 days in the south of the province, used to be 2). I try to order stuff from around BKK, but it doesn't appear to make a difference. Those shipping charges are creeping up also but I'd guess that is to do with the fuel price increases.

Laz is awash with fakes, so those really cheap ones may well be copies of the real thing.

When I bought that Marshall speaker, prices on Laz ranged from 3,000 up to 12,000 for the 'same' item. I found out the original rrp by comparing with the official store in Singapore.

Caveat emptor!
