I will be taking my son to HHH for his first jab tomorrow, so I will ask about the Green Card then (or I'll get my Thai speaking son to ask). However, with it being Sunday, there may not be anybody to ask.
Many thanks! As I’m under the expatvac scheme I don’t have a mor prom registration so I can’t use that route. Not immediately urgent though as I’m not fully jabbed until mid Sept!

My daughter-in-law also requested a Covid Passport in case I wanted to fly at some point, and they told her I needed to produce evidence of flying first :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
And what if the airline says "Show me your Covid passport before we book you on a flight" - T I T.

I think your safe - I’ve just flown and the only thing the airline required was a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure.

Back to the certificates, is it worth trying to use a photo copy on your phone for gaining entrance to anywhere it’s required?

That's what I've done...photographed and saved in phone to show at golf course, restaurant, bar(oops, got carried away there!)

OK guys, I've calmed down a bit now after my lake walk. I was furious at the HHH response, but I guess I should have expected it, especially on a Sunday :banghead:

It seems the order hasn't reached the lower ranks yet i.e. announcement made on Friday afternoon, immediately before the weekend break. It will take somebody to go back to the hospital to enquire during normal hours. If the situation hasn't resolved itself by Wednesday, providing I don't need a Green Card to get into the hospital, I will venture back to ask again. However, hopefully somebody will beat me to it and share the answer here, or maybe the Government will even announce how to get one.

I would have hoped they'd put the infrastructure in place before making the announcement.

I wonder if they've ordered torpedoes to go with their submarines :?

Can you imagine a Thai trying to operate a submarine and launch a torpedo? "Sorry Sir, I didn't see that elephant crossing the road."

We often sit here at Cha Am beach for breakfast. Will we need a Green Card in order to dine?

I was vaccinated a Phyathai 2 with AstraZeneca last month. The only proof I have is an annotation on the Mor Prom App. I didn't get a certificate. I didn't even get a sticker for my T-shirt. I don't get my second dose until October.

It won't be much fun to stand there, hungry, watching my wife enjoy her กาแฟโบราณ and ปาท่องโก๋.

I wonder how we'll get on with UK documentation. After my jabs I was issued with a turquoise hand written (credit card sized) card. I can also access the NHS app which shows details of the jabs.

PS. I did want to upload a picture of the card, but couldn't see the paperclip attachment icon anywhere?

After your jabs where? You don't say. UK or Thailand?

In any event how will we inform NHS UK database that we have been jabbed in Thailand? Hopefully they'll accept these green cards. And boost us if necessary

At the bottom you have a tab "attachments" and when you click "add files" which you can choose

Having had one injection only am I any less risk than someone with none? Maybe fractionally...

I'm not a medical person but how much less of a risk is someone who's had 1 dose of Sinovac? Ten percent maybe? I'm sure studies have been done somewhere I've not looked as of writing this

Ignore me I'm talking rubbish! ImageImageImageImage

Much higher level of protection after one shot(60%) and 40-50% less likely to infect others

So a cert for 1 shot should have some meaning I now believe

I'm sorry. Where does that article mention Sinovac? It's about Pfizer and AZ.
Mods... This might need moving to Vaccines thread now.....

Here's what I found re risk after only 1 shot of Sinovac

Looks like my first guess(10%) wasn't too far off(article suggests 16%)

It's all a bit of a mess. But my experience has been encouraging.

I registered at HH Hospital in late May. Was given a 16 digit number. Checked the web page daily for queue updates which weren't happening.
Several weeks later I registered on expatvac as I didn't really want Sinovac. They emailed, saying wait for an email with details of date and place. I thought 'hm, maybe October?'.
I ignored the HH website call to go for my first Sino jab a couple of weeks ago.
After seeing on HHH Facebook page last Monday that they were giving Pfizer on Tuesday (the next day!), also on Monday I received a very dubious looking email asking me to complete a Google form with my passport and phone details to get an appointment for Pfizer (it didn't even say where or when, or mention HHH or even have a logo). Looked like a scam so I ignored it m, until it was verified by others as correct overnight.
At 7.30 Tuesday morning I completed the Google form and sent it, then went to HHH at around 08.45 and after being processed on THREE computers there (three short and quite speedy queues) was given my first Pfizer jab at 10.00. Amazing.

Yesterday I decided to put the Mor Phrom app on my phone for sh*ts and giggles, and after registering on it I saw the details of my jab already on their system including batch number.

So, expatvac and Mor Phrom DO seem to be linked.

BB says his Mor Phrom glitched and didn't update after his second dose, but I'm not sure if his timetable and actions were as mine. I'll find out on a couple of weeks, hopefully it's all working now and I'll get the certificate of full vaccination in the app and displayable on my phone , as it shows it should do.

Thats all folks.

Sorry, remiss of me. I got Astra Zeneca jabs in July in England, and then travelled back to Hua Hin using the Phuket Sandbox scheme.
You raise a good point TheColonel. It's the same problem in reverse. Maybe you have to go to your UK GP or contact NHS direct?

Will check when I go for my second expatvac jab at Bang Saphan hospital but there it was a competely paper-based process as far as I could see - and we weren’t given a 13 digit number either. Let’s hope they set it all up in the system after the event! :D

I contacted the Foreign Ministry today to ask about green cards for expatvac vaccinations. They referred me to the Public Health hotline…. In other words they have no idea either
