Maybe they are not numbered online like they are on tapatalk

See below, Joelle got a card after 1 jab. If they are giving cards after 1 shot I'd rather have one as opposed to waiting another 3 weeks.

My worry would be golf courses refusing entry(I doubt they would in all truth, but who knows??) Image

I only had one jab because it was Janssen which requires only one shot unlike all the other vaccines and therefore I am fully vaccinated and that is why I have the green card

I guess it will depend if Golf Courses are considered high risk, although the way I read it, outdoors should be OK.

Logic would say it's about the least risk but hey 1) this is Covid and 2) TIT so who knows?!!

However, I noticed on Banyan's reopening FB post they talked about covid protocols MHBTT etc but stopped short of saying players had to be double vaxxed(or even vaxxed)

But other headlines have said "restrictions eased but only for the vaccinated....."

I guess we'll see on Wednesday 1st

I will be taking my son to HHH for his first jab tomorrow, so I will ask about the Green Card then (or I'll get my Thai speaking son to ask). However, with it being Sunday, there may not be anybody to ask.
BB could you also ask whether the Mor Phrom app can be used as an alternative to showing a piece of paper. I just registered on it using my 16 digit ID and phone number and it shows all the details of my first jab received on 14th August; official proof, right? It looks as though it will also provide a certificate on my phone, presumably once the second jab has been given.

Yes, social media was on fire with it earlier. Yes, you can all re-open, but only for 91% of the population. In effect the 91% restriction is unworkable. I'm eligible, but I'm not going into a restaurant without my wife. All 'high risk businesses ' (does anybody have a definition?) have such a small amount of the population to choose from, will it be worth opening?

HaHa that's what I thought, but when I had my 2nd Jab, mine just rolled over and continually gives me error messages.

In answer to your question though, yes, of course I will get my son to ask.

BB, please also ask....

what do the ones with the green hospital *appointment* card do?

Which I'm sure you know, does not have the 13 digit ID number on (or any such number) presumably because such people (like me) were walk ins?

(Albeit I am registered with expatvac not Mor Prom)

It just has the details of the vaccine, lot no. and type/date of 2nd shot

Pretty sure the answer will be "show up for 2nd shot and ask for it"

Thanks, hope it's quiet for you tomorrow am

An interesting question. I'd assumed my 13 digit number was the number they'd scribbled at the top of my appointment card. However, I've just checked, and they've used my Hua Hin Hospital number. As a regular at the hospital, I wonder if this is why my Mor Phrom has gone tits up. They aren't using the 13 digit number, but my regular hospital number.

Anyway, hopefully I can get to the bottom of it all tomorrow morning.

With due respect guys maybe it would be a good idea to start a new thread on the green card "fiasco", i would much prefer to read about current developments on vaccines, some of this has gone wayyyy off topic. Thank you.

From what I understand, and I may be wrong, in order to go out for a meal after the 1st, all the staff need to be fully vaccinated. Customers have to show a 'green card' proving full vaccination (my 2nd AZ jab is in November!). If you don't have a green card then you need to show results of a recent Covid test at 3K+ baht.

If I've got this right, then me and my family, and many others I'm sure, will not be dining out in the near future.

Getting a Green Card covid vaccine certificate

Post by Big Boy »

The graphic I posted above says ATK, which is less than half the price, but still stupid money (I think its a weekly requirement). I'm eligible for a card but one of my household won't be vaccinated for quite some time, so like you, until we're all vaccinated, we won't be eating out.

OK, I didn't go to the hospital after all today. My son's wife went instead, which was much better for getting questions answered.

The answer was, they didn't know anything about issuing of Green Cards, and all that I would need is to take my A5 sized appointment card everywhere, which is impractical i.e. to preserve it, it will need laminating, making it very bulky.

This is obviously going to drag on for a while, if it happens at all. As such, when I get back from my lake walk, I will do as sateeb requested yesterday, and give it a thread of its own. It looks as if somebody at the yop has said, "Make it so," but it isn't an easy fix for the plebs to resolve.

As for Mor Phrom, they confirmed it isn't working properly, so it's use is limited (there's a surprise).

My daughter-in-law also requested a Covid Passport in case I wanted to fly at some point, and they told her I needed to produce evidence of flying first :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
