Good evening,
is there a law firm in the area that specializes in debt collection?
Would be much obliged for any recommendations.
Debt Collection
Re: Debt Collection
No recommendation for a law office. But if this is a debt, of your spouse before or during meeting, and being harassed by a collection agency, then there used to be a 2 / 10 yr rule for collection. 10 yr for loans, so if they haven't collected by then, then can simply ignore the letters / phone calls, or point out they have no legal recourse after 10 yrs, and they'll probably stop asking for repayment.
May want to verify that info, as a bit dated. Few years back they revised the law, but more about the tactics lenders were using to collect, and don't think the 2 & 10 yr rule was changed.
Good Luck

In Pattaya they have the 2 for 10 rule. Two concrete boots if you haven't paid within 10 years.KhunLA wrote:No recommendation for a law office.
