I worry that this pineapple factory might not be the only cluster in Hua Hin District

Surely there are other large groups of immigrant workers elsewhere??

Not sure about Hua Hin, but certainly there are in Pranburi with several fruit processing plants. Dole are in and around Pranburi and Hua Hin, headquartered in Nong Phlab I think.

I refer to my post on the main Covid News thread showing just how big a business there is on 'people smuggling' from Mynanmar. The article suggests that there are hundreds daily making the trip.

I wonder how many of these local factory workers are legal.

There's no indication that the cluster started with an immigrant worker coming in illegally across the border. It's being reported in the Thai language Daily News that it started with an engineer (Thai?) who worked at the factory and who had concealed the fact that he'd been in a pub in Hua Hin where there had been cases reported, in early April. He apparently passed it to a four year-old child living with their parents in rented accommodation at the factory and it spread from there.

Not suggesting they started it.

But once one of them has it they are more likely to spread than others due socio economic living and working conditions

I find that report highly suspicious. Firstly they got the number of infections wrong (no biggy) and claim this person had contracted the virus in a pub 5 weeks ago. If that was the case and he's in the habit of socialising in entertainment venues and 'hiding' his infection, then why is this outbreak apparently limited to the factory. I would have expected more widespread cases from this one guy. Let's not forget, the recent surge from the Maya pub was started from one person from BKK.

^^ They didn't get the number wrong. That report was from yesterday (7th) and is the same as BB reported yesterday. That number came from public health messages on FB (at least that's where I saw them).

Another thing is that the 105, as now reported, surely can't all be from the factory. There must be others around Hua Hin not connected to the factory.

Whatever the source and the truth and who or what is to blame, there are still 108 cases.
