Bozzman, you are better to go to the Franchise dealer and buy something like this. I know it will probably be dearer but there are some saftey issues regading the manufacture of aftermarket bars.

They are related to the operation of the airbag sensors. The manufactures ones are made in a manner that they do not effect the operation of the airbag sensors in the event of an accident.

Some of the aftermarket ones that are sold, do not comply to the same saftey standards, and so may affect the operation of the airbag sensors.

This also affects the purchase of Dash Mats and Seat Covers.
Cars that have side airbags in the seats now have to have a seat cover that has a slit down the side of it so the airbag can still deploy safely.
The same with the dash mats, they have cut outs and/or separate covers for the passengers airbag.

i'm just arrived home in ireland from huahin and prachuap, just as well, prechuap is flooded badly now.didnt get to log in again for a while.

now i have to save for another 10 months before going again.

Unless something has changed in the last couple of months, I think that you will find that the web site you have quoted is NOT the official Thailand dealer for ARB. Yes, they do have, or have in the past, had genuine ARB equipment, but remember TIT. The official dealer in Thailand is "'sammitr". And no, I have no connection with them, just got told a bunch of lies by the "unofficial" dealer.
