Migrant, I think you're talking about 2 different series: Star Trek: Next Generation, in the 80s-90s, when Picard was captain of Enterprise, and, quite recently, Star Trek: Picard, about the activities of retired Admiral Picard (which I haven't seen yet).

Ahh, I didn't realize there where two later series. The one I watched, and enjoyed, was the first with captain Kirk. Maybe I'll give the others a trydtaai-maai wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 4:08 pm Migrant, I think you're talking about 2 different series: Star Trek: Next Generation, in the 80s-90s, when Picard was captain of Enterprise, and, quite recently, Star Trek: Picard, about the activities of retired Admiral Picard (which I haven't seen yet).

I'm starting to go back through the series that I missed when I moved to Thailand in the late noughties. Finished Enterprise and now about to start series 3 of Voyager.
Discovery is about to start its third season in a few days.
The full list is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_ ... k_episodes
Is the Lower Decks worth a look?
Also ... for Star Wars fans, the Mandalorian is back at the end of the month: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8111088/

Upcoming/One's to keep an eye out for. Will certainly take a look at "Roadkill" with Hugh Laurie: -

Fargo has just started its fourth season - only seen the first one but it looks like it could warm up. Italian and Black mafia scene in 50's Kansas City.

For those that like their humour on the irreverent side (Republicans need not apply
) I highly recommend the South Park Pandemic Special. Loved the running "chin diapers" gag.

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
Not for download, but one that's up and coming - and one I hope comes close to the original series which was seriously good!
"Dexter, the US TV crime drama that went off air eight years ago, is to make a return.
Star Michael C Hall will reprise his titular role for a new 10-episode limited series, network Showtime has confirmed.
The 49-year-old plays a forensic blood spatter analyst, who moonlights as a vigilante serial killer.
The part won him a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as five Emmy nominations."

If you haven't seen Dexter already, it's a must see IMHO and 8 Seasons to keep you occupied!

So much to stuff watch. So much time to watch it!If you haven't seen Dexter already, it's a must see IMHO and 8 Seasons to keep you occupied!

I've not watched Dexter yet. One I'd forgotten about. Will watch when finished 'The House on Haunting Hill' (cheers BB, enjoying this one). Edit: Or even The Haunting of Hill House... also good.

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
Having finished Star Trek: Enterprise, I've picked up Discovery where I left off (the end of s1). I'm really enjoying it, but Jesus I have to concentrate - they speak so fast! It's much more than light viewing. The Klingons have come along nicely, Spock (played by Ethan Peck, grandson of Gregory) has serious mental problems as a young man, and there are some interesting crew members, particularly Saru and Tilly. I rather enjoy Captain Pike too, a sort of upgraded James T Kirk.

Re: TV series worth watching/downloading
Thanks for this, Pharvey. Always meant to watch it, finally got round to it after your reminder. Few episodes in and bloody loving it. Right up my alley, this.
