Jimbo, the Zenair 701 is a quite amazing STOL aircraft, they only do low and slow, but they do it well!

You're all as mad as bewildered sheep!! Bungee jumping, parachuting, tandem thingy, static wot's it name? dear god have we wings? I get the sweats climbing up onto a bar stool. Terra firma for me, with sodding big bells on.... Remember Icarus!
Anyone see that recent piece of news footage of the chap falling to earth, both chutes failing, he survived with nothing more than a broken wallet and a punctured wellington! amazing....

I tend to agree with you Randy, I’ve been involved in Aviation for over 25 years and now I avoid anything that requires a parachute.

Don't knock it until you've tried it. The most amazing experience. Totally indescribable... Course, you couldn't pay me to do it again!!

All I can say for certain that my pants would be filled with large amounts of liquid poo. Seriously though I once knew a blind parachutist... I asked him one day how he knew the ground was coming up? He replied that it was easy, the dog's lead would go slack..... :D
Sorry Dawn.

Hua Hin to Pattaya.

Post by vincent chang »

Hi , Do you ever fly from Hua hin , across the gulf to Pattaya? there are quite a lot of small fields there. and some hangar space as well. It is only 67 miles or about 130 kilometers across the gulf, It would sure beat the five hour drive to be able to fly there in less than an hour. I would be happy to pay for fuel. and have a place to stay there if you want to stay a day or two. vin.

Parachutings the way forward. Did my jumps in Sennelager, Germany. Great times. Thailands good for parachuting as the weathers predicatable and winds tend to be low (little chance of being blown into burma!).

I do think the OP had his head in the clouds with this one and it seems to be BS since he has not responded to PM's or been back on the board.

Anyone want a free ride in my Ferrari?

Hey cool!!!!!!!
Alternative option for the holliday!
Would you accept a taxi pickup-flight from Pattaya?
I come back to thailand in july and i am very
excited about the opportunity to get some
different pictures!
How much would you charge for a trip to Hua Hin/ Cha Am,
though i Would like to go and see my danish friends there????
I get back to pattaya by my self!

Thanks on forehand! :guns:
