Soi 94 (Higher) Security Check

I've just been through it both ways - absolutely no interest in Farangs (waved on as soon as they saw the colour of my skin).

Army, Police, Security (dozens of them) + ambulance on the way home. A young chap laying perfectly still about 50 yards from the deck. I've never seen so many at a security check - anybody know what's going on?

The young chap laying motionless was being treated by ambulance on the way home - seemed to be trying to resuscitate him. It did not look like an accident scene.

On the other hand, security checks don't usually end up with someone needing CPR (or do they?)

No, but I'd reckon over 40 officials at the check on a fairly quiet road. A lot to be called out for an accident involving 1 person.

Isn't it possible that there was a security check and an accident? Maybe even an accident caused in part by the traffic being blocked by the check-point. That's not exactly unheard-of.

That is a possibility. I was driving, and don't do a lot of rubbernecking, but my son said there didn't appear to be any vehicles involved.

I'm just guessing but . . . when I went through there were a whole lotta "security" about but I don't recall many of what I would call the day to day police. I'm thinking that the feller laying by the roadside might have tried to do a runner and got pulled down?

In 6 short posts we've gone from a young chap laying motionless to tried to do a runner and got pulled down. Too much TV.

there was something going on the cut through between 102-94 early evening yesterday by the fitness machines at the triangle, I didn't get a good look, but a lot of people around and flashing lights (couldn't tell for sure, but most likely ambulance), is this the same place?

That was just a wedding at the huge mansion right on the bend. They had an ambulance on call, in case any of the hi-sos fainted from all the excitement.

For clarification, dashcam footage. Many of the checking team were not visible i.e. down side roads. I cut the video before the guy on the floor.

Jeez, that looks like something out of Guatemala in the 80s. Not somewhere I would want to go on holiday.

Army security check at Soi 6 earlier this week. Between rsilway and khlong at about 21.00hrs.
