We had to order a birthday cake today, and Mrs BB got quite upset when I couldn't tell her how many bon (probably completely the wrong spelling) the cake should be. Can anybody tell me please, and save my head from being chewed off next time?
In the end, she ordered 4 bon.

Re: What is a bon please
Interestingly enough, bpaawn (ปอนด์) is not only the loanword pound, but also the numerical classifier for cakes (and loaves of bread). So "khanom cake 4 bpaawn" might mean a 4 pound cake, but also 4 cakes. So don't be surprised if you get 4 cakes
