I've been waiting until the last minute about this. Our plan was to attend but our little daughter is at the tail end of the flu and is still on antibiotics for bad chest congestion, not wise to take her on a trip right now.

Have a great time and hoist a few for me. I'll be there in spirit! Pete

When you get back BG, interesting to hear any comments about Thai/VN comparisons regarding economic development, farang friendly, overall opening up/growth over there. Have an enjoyable and safe trip. Pete

I'll be sorry to miss you both. Pete, I hope little girl (sorry, don't want to put her name out there) gets better soon.

Thanks Dawn. I'm the culprit as I had 14 days on 625mg AB's and I really stayed away from her the entire time. I guess not good enough. :( Pete

PS: Mom is flu free. It must be a farang, luk krung thing, or chillies kill all germs. ....LOL

I'm sitting over here on the Pattaya side at 1700 hours after experiencing several hours of downpouring rain. Wondering if the party on your side is getting wet? Makes for a nice change anyway, fresh, clean air for a change. Party hardy! Pete

Good to hear you enjoyed yourselves.

I'm hoping there are going to be a good selection of photos as there was last year.

Richard i specifically went to see you i am so sorry i had to leave early and missed you we will catch up later i owe you a beer
The beat group were IMO the best most professonal group i have heard in all my time here the singer was awsome their sound control man is stone deaf (or burgher bribed him)
me and my mate had positioned ourselve at the furthest extremity of JWs and had to resort to spilt beer and finger writing our communications on the table top
I was so envious of dawn Lomu WL buksi Dr dave JW and others who were just centimetres from the band conversing in the secret MOD language of which i am not oh fay yet.
I am gunshot deaf in my left lugoil (very usefull for copping mrs sarge a deaf one when she is in rant mode) and thus was recieving a double portion of volume to my one and only good lugoil (very useful for when mrs sarge says dinner is ready) I am also still off the beer re a few nasty days plus my 14 year old nephew arrived earlier in the afternoon for his school hols (i got somebody to play with me now) and so reluctantly had to retire hurt. It was obviously going to be a real humdinger of a party and was in full swing when i left nice one JW and mods hope the sound man gets his hearing back and i can stay the course next time :D :D :D
