Parahandy
Great fan of the old Tv series Vital Spark even in black and white in the early sixties as the steamed up and down the Clyde up to no good as i never saw them towing a boat.Feel sure that the stories were converted into Penguin book form which I would like to acquire so can you give me the authours name

Digger: Little tug here, just steaming around.
We have a book entitled 'Parahandy And Other Tales' by Hugh Foulis (Neil Munro). Published by William Blackwood (Edinburgh 1980), ISBN 0 85158 1382. It's a superb collection of some of the tales, and a great read on a lazy afternoon. Maybe Amazon will have a copy - I seriously doubt if you can buy it here.
Good luck.

P.S. Bearhug: Parahandy does get access to it, and it doesn't bother me at bit. We were sharing a user name at the time, and I didn't want (as many people were doing) for people to think that we only posted to get access to the 'secret area'. We both find it quite mindnumbingly boring actually...
