I have spoken to a good friend linked to the Observer regarding a story about this issue, he was a good friend of Bjorn also and we will discuss what we can do, i also intend to speak to the Big Chilli to see ifwe can get some editorial there also.

I posted this in another thread but will repeat here, these are not any standard but they are better than the plastic icecream tub lids you get with new bikes:

You can buy one of these more sturdy lids from the Tuesday market at Pae Mai for around 6-700 baht.

Actually the best place to start is the new Hua Hin Mirror which is written in both Thai and English. They have already started talks with the police on some of the matters and will be reporting the response it in February's edition.

Quite right Greavsie. The thing is that statistically the Thais are more likely to get killed than a farang.

Anything we do I believe should be done as a group and the racial aspect should be kept out. What we want to do is save peoples lives whatever the culture or skin color happened to be.

There has been many good suggestions so far on this thread.

Can we please try and co-ordinate it.

Over to you Wanderlust for now.

Guess i couldnt agree more good post.

I would add that the plain logic and the straightforward common sense of the argument should prevail and we should request not demand
And as widely as possible spread the logic and common sense argument.
