The Intercon regularly advertise brunches and events, though I doubt you'll find 'free flow' anywhere in Hua Hin.

Try Macfarlane House at the Hyatt. Really nice spread there for Sunday brunch.

I remember walking the beach a while back and the Chiva Som was offering a deal like that with free flow wine. I plan on heading past later today and I'll see if the notice is still there.

Last time we went to Macfarlane house, a couple of months back, they did offer a free flow option which seemed decent value in the overall scheme of things

Don't forget to add on the 10% service charge and 7% VAT this brings the 1,900 Baht meal to a hefty 2,236 Baht per person.

2236b my dinner money for 2 weeks
Re: Sunday Brunch at hotels
That's our food money for a month!!
Mind you, there's nothing wrong with splashing out occasionally and I'm trying to lose weight so I'll keep to the twigs and leaves for now.
Only joking.

I'm happy I don't need a budget like you guys. Only for lunch today, 5 persons, at MK, I spent 2200 baht. And dinner is yet to come.

5 for 2200 is not bad, and even if the OP chooses to spend 2236 per person that is his choice and I thoroughly hope he enjoys the experience. I would love to see the restaurant managers face if you walk in with 6 kids under 6 all eating for free.

For those looking for "free flow", that Coffee Club place behind the Hilton has a sign outside offering it on beer and wine from 12-2pm and 6-8pm for 149bt when ordered with a meal, which doesn't sound too bad a deal.

to huahin4ever-- Its not a case of 'needing a budget' Its not poverty that drives careful spending. Its just a quest for relative value for money
Re: Sunday Brunch at hotels
Thanks folks. It is pricey so certainly wouldn't be a weekly thing. However, once in a while, if the food and wine are quality, it's not too bad. Might have to give it a go and report back.
Cheers.
