I am looking to find an English language class in Hua Hin for my significant other. Her spoken English is very good and there is no real problem communicating but she would like to improve her pronunciation and written English.
I haven't found a recent thread and as things change very quickly here in HH, I thought I would ask for more up to date information.
Does anyone know of a good class around, or does anyone have a partner who has been to a class and would recommend it to others?
I highly recommend Sirada Learning Center. Located on ground floor of tallest building between Soi 63/1 and Soi 65, relatively close to city hall in center of town, but on the beach side of Petkasem. They teach both English and Thai classes, as well as computer and other classes. I've been studying Thai Language with them for over 3 years and am extremely happy with my results and all other aspects of the school. They have a web site that you can google. I'll also post this link http://www.learningcentre.co.th/about.php
I sent her down to see them and they have both classes and private one on one lessons. If anyone is interested, they quoted us 5500 baht for 10 hours on a one on one basis and 3000 baht for 10 hours as part of a class.
Sadly we will have to wait until there are enough people wanting to take the class before they will hold them. A bit like the mini vans to BKK in that they only run when full!
It should be noted that there are two schools in that building. Sirada has a shop front office on the ground floor. The other TLC is on the 3rd floor. Neither have any affiliation with the other as far as I know.
Hello, My 2 daughters 5 and 11 years are in Withayalai school in EP classes. I would like they learn the week-end 2 hours of private lesson with an english native speaker. So there is Sirada Learning Center and TLC, any more ?
