Have you been looking closely at what is coming out of your ATM?

Very easily but thanks for asking and being concerned enough to ask. :D

Of course, becuase Brexit doesnt affect me one iota - I wasnt even allowed to vote despite being born there!

The banks are making up their own exchange rates to protect local currency, they all do this so ultimately the customer gets screwed again.

Sticking a Thai card into a UK ATM to take money from a Thai Baht account is probably the worst way to get a good exchange rate. If you have a few more weeks left in England, and if you have Internet banking try and see if it is more effective to make a one off transfer of money to a family members account in the UK, get your money that way. Putting cards in machines is always going to cost you more if the base account is in another currency.

I'm also British, cannot vote in the UK but why should I have the rght to when I do not live there. Brexit has no impact on me, I am paid in USD, Gold and Silver are both going up in value so how can one lose.

We Europe citizens, even abroad we have our civic rights, I don't use this right, because not interested in local politics.
But keeping his rights is democratic. So Brits cannot pretend to be a democracy, and certainly not en example.

I would not agree, the UK is extremely democratic. The UK held a referendum and the majority voted Leave, the ones crying foul now are the ones who are not democratic such as the Scots who will not accept the outcome.
Cameron is actually doing well by not arguing the point anymore just getting along with things.

On the case of GBP vs THB, I don't see the issue, the GBP is still higher against the THB than in 2013.

The baht is currently weak against the dollar at above 35. Back in 2013 it was below 30 which is why the exchange between the pound and the baht looks reasonable. Back in those days the pound was just below 1.60 dollars and the pound to baht was 43.
If the baht to the dollar went back to 2013 levels, you can expect 38/39 baht to the pound.

Agreed but that is highly unlikely to happen
