I received my Thai drivers licence and riders licence in Pranburi this morning.
No drivers licence required, simply a copy of my international licence, along with other documentation i already mentioned in this post.
My understanding is if you dont have an international drivers licence then you need to also complete the Thai drivers knowledge test.

What time did you go and how long did it take?
I got all my papers ready including international licence and will head to pranburi the next few days.

There may well have been a thread regarding this tax increase, in which case I missed it and can't find it, so could someone please elaborate on what the changes are that should have come into effect by now.
Apologies for the late request and inconvenience

My husband is Norwegians and the license he got can be applied in EU, Does he need to apply for an Int'l driving license for further to Get Thai driving license
I had friends refused with Spanish and French driving licences because the language used was not English, even though the appearance of the Euro licence is identical. They had 2 choices i.e. either obtain an International Driving Permit or get their licences translated and notorised.
