Yes, I'm trying to keep up with a bit of everything. Of course it's the end of the NRL season down under and some exciting play there, whereas it's the start of things in the UK and Europe. I caught a Sky Sports show on Setanta the other day and it was a League show. They showed charts and it was astonishing to see the quantity of League teams in the UK.  Every village that has a soccer team must have a rugby team as well...and that doesn't count the Union teams. The RWC is here as well so it is possible for one to watch rugby 24 hours a day if you wish!  Pete

Just saw commercial stating FOX 2 (TRUE 689) will cover all the RWC starting this Saturday. In addition I think Setanta on TRUE 669 will have it as well. Good there is two as I'm sure choices to see repeats if you miss a match. Pete

Christ, and now we lose Eli Walker to a hamstring injury and we haven't kicked off yet!! :cuss:

Interesting decision to bring in Moriarty as a replacement - him being a Back-row forward and Walker a Wing/Fullback...

Anywho, as long as we "do" the Lillywhites!! :duck:

Just two night's sleep before the Opening Ceremony - at "Twickers" of course, so please all give a "Rah, Rah!!" :D

As a God send, I completed my job today and have now arrived in a wonderful hotel - The Hilton in Mersin (Mersin being a lovely port city - thankfully, a tad further West from where I had been working previously). The BIG point is, I can now watch those wonderful southern islanders have a little fun with the Lillywhites on Friday before my flight home ....... Although, by some bizzare twist of fate, Beelzibub's Buggers are the "Away Team" and play in red....... Personally, I just think they're jealous of the Welsh!! :naughty: :duck:

Joking apart, here's to a great opening ceremony and a great tournament!!

Good name for this thread PET "GREAT RED ROSE" for England - enough of all this DEVIL language - after all it is only a game and we are RUGBY supporters and know how to behave! So enough is enough you LEAKS just get on with the game and let's see the result - then you will have something or probably nothing to crow about!
It does not matter where you come from, it's where you are going that matters.
