Precisely - which is why it is so bl**dy annoying that he was playing so late in the game (or even at all). We have Biggar to take over the kicking, but he certainly doesn't have the same range or % of Halfpenny.

[EDIT] Reports are saying that he'll be out for up to 6 months, so certainly not a minor injury.... :(

They are not showing their hand PH and also did not go at it 100%, thanks be to God or we could be where Wales are now (Players down) Quite a few weeks yet till they meet France so plenty of time to get up-to 100% and clear the voice for a few songs :-)

Ps - Australia/Wales still to qualify I hope
Can see you getting through to the final IF you're on song.....

Against all odds the man has made the team, surviving the final cut and now on the official 49er roster for the season! They have him playing as a 1) punt returner 2) wide receiver and 3) running back. He's been outstanding at all three during the pre-season so no idea what position he'll finally land in. Will be interesting to watch...for me. :D Pete

^ Being a complete novice regarding the NFL, what are the major differences in these positions - i.e. what will suit this guy's style of play?

#1 and 3 would suit him best and little to no difference between them and what he's been doing in the NRL for years. To keep DTM and Pet happy, I'll update his progress with frequent reports.

You'll be able to see repeats of what is arguably the best NRL match of the season on Setanta channel 669 all this coming week. A person watching felt physically drained at the final whistle! :D The NRL semi-finals continue this week. See NRL on Google for complete schedule. Pete
