The safety boom on 94th street railway crossing are desynchronized. They won't lower before the train already is in the crossing itself. See for yourself:

I watched 3 trains pass through between 5:30 p.m. and 7'ish last night and on each occasion the guards worked as they should.

If you witness it malfunctioning call the SRT hotline on 1690 and report the problem. They will send somebody to investigte
