That's what I thought when I first read it, but then they give a date of 13 July - over a month away.

This could be a opportunity to find big size shirts, but could someone please tell me at which school this event will take place ?
Thanks in advance !
Here you go benji, they've clarified the date and posted a map (taken from the club's official page):

See the club have also announced another new signing this afternoon, it's another one of our coach's former players when they were at Phuket + latterly Bangkok together. I can't claim to know of him but the initial reaction by some of the fans on the Facebook post is very positive, they sound very excited to have him here!

Yes, its looking really good :D

Assuming they still play the Brazilians and the 2 central defenders, it basically confirms what I've been saying for most of the season - the bit in the middle needed to do better :run:

Big assumption....

The Brazilians, ok yeah, I imagine they'll still be playing but one of the 2 centre halves' place may be under threat if 'Big Valery' has anything to do with it!

From a probably very guessable source, he's looked very impressive at the training ground....

From what I have seen so far the days of Lucas and Andre being the outstanding two star players in the Hua Hin team have come to an end. All of the new signings look magnificent players and we are certainly going to have a great team when the season resumes. Michael Byrne, as I have said previous, looks a class player, great control, superb vision and passing and certainly has an eye for goals. He reminds me very much of my all time favourite player, a guy called Tony Green, a Scottish international who Newcastle bought from Blackpool back in the early 70's. He was absolutely magic. The new number 2 also looks to be a class midfielder. With even more players due to arrive the coach is certainly going to have a few headeches picking a starting eleven from this squad. The aim of all the new signings, so I was told, was to have cover for every position. Things are certainly shaping up that way. I can see squad rotation becoming much more prevailent in the second half of the season.

I am currently on my annual "vacation" back in Scotland, and I am missing all things Thailand, i.e. weather, food, chang beer, and of course Hua Hin City football! Thanks for keeping me updated on here.

My darling wife noticed a programme on telly last night, "Brits in Bangkok" and very kindly recorded it for me. Not very exciting until it mentioned, Michael Byrne, a professional footballer playing in Bangkok. I immediately sat up and paid a bit more attention, as I had heard that name just recently!!

It is of course, one of our new signings!!!

A little bit of digging unearthed this clip of him scoring a hat trick,

lets hope he can do this for Hua Hin. I'm sure you will also be able to catch clips of the "Brits in Bangkok" programme somewhere.

Although he has just turned 30 I worry that he may be past his best, and just wanting to pick up the money? Hopefully GD can update us with regards to his attitude (that's Michael Byrne's attitude, as I know all about GD's attitude  ) and also GD's previous comment, "Michael Byrne looks a class act despite being nowhere near match fit."

Can't wait to get back and hopefully enjoy the rest of the season!

Is the Vietnam training camp/friendlies happening? Or is it NEXT WEEK? They never got back to me with details, so I've still got a few million Dong burning a hole in my pocket.

Never mind - if today's news about Vietnamese visas comes to fruition, I'm better off waiting a while :D .

Yesterday I heard they are going the 17th for five days. Not set in tablets of stone though.
