Next U-turn going north after Smor Phrong - the U-turn for Hua Hin Hospital at Hua Hin Soi 10. Orange songtaew doesn't see the need to go do a U-turn further along (sorry for crappy picture quality). I don't think any further comment needed.
Songtaew crossing into oncoming traffic.

Songtaew heading down wrong side to turn right opposite Hua Hin Soi 10.

I don't even remember making that comment. I don't understand it either. Must remember to log out when I'm not at home!

now they have moved some of the pavement on the new southbound channel road so its more easy to make the u-turn, but not the the northbound yet, if they ever do.

How far will the road go North, now looks as if it is going as far as Palm Hills, but will it go as far as Cha Am? If not how will the road merge to the main highway?

The road (single track) does go all the way to Cha Am and meets up with the bypass, to the West of Cha Am and then you can turn left towards Pranburi or left and a u-turn towards Petchaburi and on towards Bangkok.

Geko..I was thinking the same thing the other day...
..they're making it wider all the way to the Palm Hills entrance..Then what??
If you're coming from Cha Am in a car it's a pig crossing the Northbound lane to get to Palm Hills due to the sheer speed of oncoming traffic under the runway & round the bend.
But then again the whole of the Klong Rd is a farce..cars parked along it's full length making back to single lane..a bloody paved/kirbed footpath along it's full length ffs (??) Ho-hum.. :banghead:
