Security authorities are considering to ban wearing motorcycle helmets in 13 districts of Narathiwat province following last week's car bomb explosion that injured a dozen of people and damaged almost 50 shop houses.
Not just Thailand. Just googled and there is a similar bill going through in the UK and the Phillipines. The one in the UK is to ban burkas described as a face covering and the aim is to ban 'face coverings' so people can be identified. That would also cover helmets.
The same for the Phillipines.
IF this is a security issue then it can be solved easily - Off with the hemet when you OFF the bike and ON with the helmet when you get back ON the bike - I can't see the problem?
Courage is grace under pressure and when circumstances change you change your mind.
Here's my briefing to my bombing partners:
"OKAY, GUYS. WE HAVE 3 TARGETS TONIGHT, A, B AND C. KHUN MANOP TAKE TWO GUYS AND DO THE BUSINESS AT TARGET A. KHUN SARAWUT, YOU WILL TAKE TWO GUYS TO TARGET B. THE REST OF YOU WILL SUPPORT KHUN TEERAPAT AT TARGET C.
NOW REMEMBER, GUYS, YOU MUST NOT WEAR MOTORCYCLE HELMETS AS THEY ARE NOW AGAINST THE LAW. IT APPEARS THEY SCREW UP IDENTIFICATION ON THE CCTV FOOTAGE AND WE WOULDN'T WANT THAT, WOULD WE.
GOOD LUCK, GUYS AND DRIVE SAFELY!"
No condoms during sex as it's a hindrance in obtaining good DNA samples
